Just out of quarantine after a nearly symptom free Covid infection for all family members. I couldn’t be more thankful for the Covid vaccines! Seeing @FirstWaveFilm today is an incredibly cinematic and essential reminder of how far we have come. What stays with you is HOPE!

I'm still thinking about #TheFirstWave from this weekend. Incredibly difficult (throughout) but so significant to consider: w/ the sheer grit + grace of humanity presented in this film. Such important viewing as we continue to make sense of this moment.

The First Wave is not an easy film to watch, but it certainly gave me some perspective about this public health crisis. I talked to director Matthew Heineman about making it: hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-f…

I composed the closing credits song for @FirstWaveFilm entitled BREATHE and I dedicate it to all the doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who are standing on the front lines of this pandemic. Here is some bts footage of me at @electricladystudios at 6:28am as I begun composing.

Shocking, devastating, heart-rending, essential. Beautifully shot and edited, allowing the subjects - patients, their families, and the professionals caring for them - to speak for themselves. This should be required watching for every adult in this country.
