We're at the 'blueberries for breakfast every single day' season. Which is very closely followed by 'apples 37 ways' season.

What a lovely day…a spot of rain, the sun is not so intense, there is a breeze and I’m drinking tea, watching a fabulous film perfect for afternoon escapism…

People, please stop engaging with all this right wing shit that is being tweeted. Engagement is what they want. It's their oxygen. Engagement also means it's coming up on my timeline and I don't want to see it. Music, kittens, cake, gardening, and flowers are all good.

Pea and broad bean risotto ( peas and beans from the allotment) with flaked poached salmon. In a hipster restaurant the menu would say: Peas, beans, rice, fish....29.5
