Once institutions reach 50% women, they rarely stop there. Helen Andrews points out that many fields keep feminizing — 52%, 55%, 56%… and in psychology, it’s now 75% female graduate students. It’s not just women out-competing men and hitting natural balance. As environments become more feminized, they often start feeling unwelcoming to men: different conversation styles, more gossip and factions, less tolerance for certain kinds of debate. Men quietly leave, especially those drawn to the harder, more analytical sides of the field, which accelerates the shift. The cycle becomes self-reinforcing. Andrews suggests the only way to reverse it may be deliberately carving out spaces where men can work and debate in a more masculine way — without apology. It’s an uncomfortable but honest observation about how institutions quietly change character over time. Do you see this pattern playing out in fields you’re familiar with? Is there a healthy way to push back without turning everything into a gender war?

@Fair_and_Biased Yes, correct. The fact that so many people (mostly online) who can so easily be made to direct their ire at a group of people who do not deserve it is such a sad state of affairs.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the Catholic faith is not anti-Zionist. I spent the first 20 years of my life in it, & our church loved Israel. My Catholic family members love Israel. My Catholic neighbor posts prayers for Israel on Facebook. My Catholic followers on this app are Zionists. And some Catholics are not. Take issue with Levin or Loomer, sure. Hold whatever opinion you want about Israel. But don’t pretend that your opinion is a matter of Catholic conscience or necessity.

Mark Levin and Laura Loomer must stop attacking Catholics. We will not sit quietly while we are mocked and canceled. There will be no forced conversions to Political Zionism. CATHOLICS, DEFEND YOUR FAITH! NO RETREAT! NO SURRENDER!

Fetterman cannot be trusted. Not until he is the 51st vote in an important issue. Until it’s just soundbites to appeal as a voice of reason to his purple and turning redder by the day state. Nothing more. A con until proven otherwise.

@astraiaintel I agree about MTG and Omar, but that doesn’t mean you have to straddle the fence. It’s ok to have convictions and be honest about them.

Be a centrist. There is nothing sane about MTG, and there is nothing sane about Ilhan Omar. The extremes in both parties are completely idiotic. Two literal ideological cancerous tumors pressing against each other.

Truth be told, there was no "generational coalition" in the sense he means it. The Retard Right was never part of any "coalition." From Massie to Barnes to Ian Carroll to Jake Shields, they've always just been contrarians who attach themselves to anything they view as out of power and then continue to be contrarian once "their side" gets into power. These people have never been interested in actually winning and governing and trying to make the country better. They just latch onto garbage like ThE ePsTiEn FiLeS that they think can be used to undercut principle members of this "coalition" they supposedly belong to. These people are not and have never been reliable, which is why Trump and his people have rightly marginalized them

Guys, these aren’t “podcast wars.” There’s no comparison between the four cackling dorks interviewing each other and Mark Levin/Ben Shapiro. Mark and Ben have insane market share, terrestrial syndication, their own networks, etc. Their reach is impossible to quantify. MAGA agrees with them on the war in Iran, and most Americans don’t actually buy into the Israel-Runs-Everything conspiracies. The other four are just circling the wagons to protect their marketshare of the same 400K or so listeners that would fracture completely if they disagreed. Maybe Tucker had some other plan, and Candace is just on Planet Candace where reality is just a distant illusion, but the other two just want their numbers, and you know this because Piers Morgan has not had a single molecule of ethics his entire career. The person worst off in this is Erika Kirk, who is just getting steamrolled for clicks, and then no one can actually defend her lest Candace and Tucker severely punish dissent and send the other two tumbling down the charts.
Jackie Chea ⚖️@Fair_and_Biased

Well, Trump has picked a side since the “podcast wars” are becoming a distraction & impediment to his agenda. I expect the ppl he’s talking about will go full anti-Trump soon – which is where they were already headed. He’s just fast tracking them.

The growing antisemitism which goes hand-in-hand with anti-Americanism is largely a result of propaganda and foreign meddling in American politics. I’ve seen it IRL. A former RWer I know who a few months ago was totally pro Trump, hardcore for mass deportation, now believes America and Israel are the greatest evils in the world. He thinks Mexico is a safer option and that Islamic terrorism isn’t real, Muslims are not violent-it’s all an American psyop pushed by Israel. The Iranians don’t want the Islamic regime gone and Cubans & Venezuelans wanna stay communist. He legit believes this because of what he sees online. And no amount of data or seeing things with his own eyes is gonna change that. Antisemitism isn’t just wrong. It is quite literally the gateway to madness & hatred of one’s own country! It should be treated as a much more serious issue than it is.
Jonathan Turley@JonathanTurley

NBC has a shocking poll that reflects the shift in the Democratic Party. Today, only 13 percent of Democrats have a positive view of Israel. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-… In addition, only 17 percent favor Israel over the Palestinians.

@Liz_Wheeler Liz, the premise is incorrect. Those people aren’t conservatives and can barely be considered on the right. They’re only in it for themselves. They’re on their own side.

NEW: President Trump torches Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, etc. for their vicious attacks on Mark Levin He says they are "people with far less Intellect, Capability, and Love for our Country" than Levin He says Levin is "far smarter than those who criticize him" and that Kelly and Tucker "are jealous and angry Human Beings, whose 'sway' is much less than the Public understands, and will, now that they know where I stand, rapidly diminish." "Those that speak ill of Mark will quickly fall by the wayside, as do the people whose ideas, policies, and footings are not sound. THEY ARE NOT MAGA, I AM, and MAGA includes not allowing Iran, a Sick, Demented, and Violent Terrorist Regime, to have a Nuclear Weapon to blow up the United States of America, the Middle East and, ultimately, the rest of the World. MAGA is about stopping them cold, and that is exactly what we are doing."

@dissidentwest True. These are not smart people. They are not good critical thinkers. They don’t care about the truth. They don’t value integrity. They DO care about themselves, and not much else. Charlie was the opposite of all those things. Cast them out.

In the aftermath of the Kirk tragedy this country was going through a full blown revival. Church attendance was up, right wing factions that were usually infighting were coming together and morale was surprisingly high. Then Candace Owens, Ian Carroll, et al. poisoned the well. You can frame it as honest investigations into what actually happened to Kirk, but the way they've gone about it isnt even remotely honest or honorable. They continuously sling shit at the wall and just hope for something to stick while raking in tens of thousands of dollars, if not more. It can't be understated how subversive this group has been in the wake of what happened to Charlie and how they've worked relentlessly to destroy his legacy and life's work.

We’re likely going to lose the Midterms because the right is spending ALL of its energy attacking itself instead of the left — and they are LOVING it. They are more radical than ever, just staying relatively quiet as to not interrupt their enemy fighting itself. President Trump hasn’t been perfect — but man, there have been so many wins. The border being completely locked down is enough to make my vote worth it. There will always be disappointments with any administration, I’ve just never seen a crash out like this. I honestly think the expectations were so high that anything short of accomplishing every goal with lightning speed (which is unrealistic) was going to be met with disappointment. It seems after Charlie died, the whole movement just imploded. Sad state of affairs.

They’re not dead yet. Expect them to become even more aggressively anti-Trump and scream EXTRA LOUDLY that he has sold out to Israel. Then expect pundits like Megyn Kelly (who Trump was obviously talking about) to align even more with the crazies against him. We’re in for a rocky year. Buckle up.

The fact is that Charlie Kirk was murdered by a left wing militant. And that’s far from the only act of brutal violence by a leftist even just over the past year. In response, there hasn’t been any kind of major nationwide crackdown on leftist extremists and the organizations that fund and encourage them. There hasn’t been any concerted response of any kind. It just hasn’t happened. But don’t worry: Democrats will take power and do to us exactly what we didn’t have the focus or fortitude to do to them. The whole thing is enraging.
