Alrighty, wrapped that up for the evening. A test is a test. We'll see if it worked.

@chloe_hnng @Twitch The "ten times more to run" thing is an issue I was not aware of, and I extend my apologies for that. But with that said: A gaming culture is not an easy thing to develop, and South Korea is known for having gaming cultures. It *should* be able to be profitable.

@FrostPDP @Twitch and how is that "historical association" make Korea the best market for Twitch ? when it cost 10 times more to run comparing to other countries ?

@GlowingToast @Twitch Okay, so that's a bit better of an explanation of how this is working. I get the sensation that Twitch, and possibly others are simply not going to be able to allow their website to be accessible from S. Korea? Since they'd have to send their bits to be double-dipped?

@GlowingToast @Twitch The article just says, "The high fees come from South Korea's law that dictates content providers have to pay volume-dependent fees in order to deliver their digital goodies through Korean internet service providers" But, like...How?

@GlowingToast @Twitch I'm more confused now than I was earlier. What exactly is the thing being fee'd/taxed that makes it so Twitch has to cut its South Korean folks off...Unless they Partner in a different country? Or is that just OP's mistake in thinking she could do that?

@GlowingToast @Twitch Also: I believe this streamer said she could restart based in North America, meaning she'd be starting over but still working for Twitch? I mean, like, is Twitch gonna ISP block all of South Korea for this? It's just weird.
