The @GlobalOYNetwork , a multi-stakeholder initiative hosted at @AspenInstitute and managed in partnership with GDI, recently cohosted an event with @Accenture at #UNGA79 showcasing new opportunities and innovations for youth in the green economy! Youth speakers, Andres Felipe Rodriguez and Edna Kaguongo shared personal examples of their own green initiatives as well as green opportunities within their communities. Elevating #youth voice and experience is one of GOYN’s core values of Authentic Youth Partnership, where youth are not only in the audience, but are in fact driving conversations as the featured speakers. The ideas shared at the event reaffirmed our belief that young people are not just shaping the future—they’re proving that the future is NOW.
