@enbylebeau If your usage data doesn't look right, it will be corrected on the 5th day and any credits will be applied to your account balance.

@enbylebeau We receive preliminary usage data from Smart Meter Texas the day after flow. That data often times contains estimated usage. Five days after flow, Smart Meter Texas finalizes that usage data, and any discrepancies are reconciled in your account.

@GoGriddy how tf did is my electricity 1641.00 when I don’t have any lights for 4 days? Please explain that to me on how that makes sense? Also when I tried to switch when you guys told me to you put a switch hold on my account. Make it make sense.

@GMsportspodcast We make $0 off of price volatility . Griddy passes through the wholesale price of electricity which is set by ERCOT, the grid operator. The only money we make is off of the $9.99 monthly membership.

Tomorrow's projected forecast, 2/20: As of this morning, ERCOT declared that grid operations are back to normal, meaning so are wholesale prices. Prices are now being determined by market conditions again (as they should!).

@potsey_weber When the price go negative it behaves like a credit. For the usage that is incurred during the negative period, the energy charge will be negative which will offset the rest of the your day.
