Crime Branch Busts Drug Supply Chain arresting two accused persons In a crackdown against, Crime Branch Goa arrested Loknath Haldar (r/o Rampurhat, Birbhum, West Bengal; residing at Anjuna) after seizing 1.5 kg ganja worth ₹1.4 lakh from his possession. Based on his disclosure, the supplier Rajkumar Das (r/o District Banka, Bihar; residing at Verla–Mapusa) was also tracked and apprehended. Both accused are in police custody, and further investigation is underway under the NDPS Act.

Anti Narcotic Cell, under the guidance of SP Smt. Sunita Sawant, in association with the Department of Rural Development and students of Kare College of Law, Margao, presented a powerful Street Play (Nukkad Natak) at SARAS Goa 2026, Panaji, spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

Under the guidance of DGP Goa, a capacity-building initiative was conducted for Goa Police today. Shri Sachin Ghorpade, IPS, Zonal Director, NCB Bengaluru, delivered an awareness session on “Narcotic Drugs – Tools & Techniques in Investigation.” IGP Goa, DIGP Goa, and all SPs of Goa Police attended the session, strengthening efforts to combat drug-related crimes.

The Hon’ble Addl. Sessions Court Margao, has convicted Accused for life imprisonment and fine of Rs 50,000/- in Murder Case of Vasco police station Crime No. 85/2019 u/s 302 IPC reflecting Meticulous investigation by PI Ravi Desai and PI Nilesh Rane. Justice delivered. 👮‍♂️⚖️
