By posting that security camera video with her friend, she knew it would attract attention. And when her mother liked that rumor post, it only fueled the hate and harassment that Damla was receiving from A.P.'s fans.
To everyone defending her, I'm sorry, but I believe this move will only create more controversy. She knows very well that A.P.'s fans are waiting for any excuse to attack Damla. To me, this comes across as presenting herself as the victim, which only encourages those people to direct even more hate toward Damla.
Using a situation that leads to someone else's public harassment to generate attention is, in my opinion, a very low thing to do.
