The League of Ireland can confirm that Galway United v Shelbourne in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division have been postponed after a late sudden torrential rain downpour which has made the pitch unplayable following a pitch inspection from match officials. We will issue a new date for the fixtures in due course.

Ireland U15 forwards Ronan Keating and Destiny Okharedia have had opportunities to train at Benfica in recent weeks.👀🇮🇪 Keating plays as a striker in Galway United’s academy, where he has registered 14 G/A in 6 games this season. He is training with Benfica’s U15 and U16 sides this week.✨ Okharedia is a winger playing in Cork City’s academy - the same club Jaden Umeh was at before his move to Benfica in 2024.✅ He was in Portugal training with Benfica last week and also recently had the opportunity to train + play in a tournament with Real Sociedad’s U15s.🇵🇹🇪🇸 Two players with so much potential - the future of Irish football looks bright.👏🌟
