Panthers franchise legend Cam Newton returned to Bank of America Stadium today to be the team’s honorary Keep Pounding drummer. Panthers owners Nicole and Dave Tepper welcomed Newton and his family to the stadium a short time ago.

Jamie Ager is going to win NC-11 and send Chuck Edwards and his corporate lobbyist buddies packing.

Democrats need to run strong candidates with deep local roots in every district. Message on what actually matters to voters there. Build resources to meaningfully compete. We must play ball *to win* this year — we have way too good of an opportunity to waste.

To my fellow NC Democrats: Please know that Democratic candidates do not have to collect signatures to be on the ballot. In 2026, nearly every seat will be competitive. But there are several spoiler campaigns running that are asking folks to sign petitions. Don't fall for it.

Not only was it a major night for Democrats nationally, but also in local elections across North Carolina. You won't read about about these in the headlines tomorrow, but NC Dems are continuing to lay impressive groundwork — building the bench and racking up wins.

Redistricting is just *another* example of why state legislative seats are so important. Despite Congressional races getting 10x the attention and funding, they are much more influenced by the leaders being elected further down the ballot.

This is just the latest effort in a series of attempts to steal elections in North Carolina — Republicans will stop at nothing to silence the voters and keep their power. If you stand with our democracy and the people of NC, please support the @NCDemParty today.
