Registration for the Beer Mile is now CLOSED. We gotta cut it off somewhere, & we have A LOT of teams—good luck to all! If you’re not competing in the Beer Mile, you’re certainly welcome to spectate. Remember: If you can’t be an athlete, be an athletic supporter!

I know that some of you usually park on North Boulevard heading east from Happy’s / Third Street, so if you’re one of those people, please seek parking further north at least for this week. Thankya!

Aight yall— The big note for this week is the presence of film crews that will be filming “National Treasure” downtown… The predominance of activity is right on North Boulevard—at St Louis (in the Square) and in front of City Plaza…

There may be slightly limited support for today’s run…. HOWEVER... The evening will be in the more-than-capable hands of Casey and Jeanne, and temps should be relatively glorious—in the high 60’s / low 70’s…

Well yall, there’s been rain off and on downtown all day long, so the changes are pretty good that this #Nicholas fella is going to bring at least some precipitation for the run this evening…
