I've spent my life never liking how I looked. Convinced myself I was ugly and spent years "not caring". Now that I'm finding myself I finally feel comfortable with a mirror and a camera in a way I never was before. Trans Joy is a beautiful thing, and I embrace every second of it.

@joshblaster_ @IndieGameJoe When you see enough hate coming towards you it doesn't matter how thick your skin is, it's going to affect you eventually and it's hard not to be weighed down by it a bit. Kicking someone while they're down is a real low. It takes a bit of support to get back up sometimes.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018): railroad workers are actually working and they nail the track into the ground before moving onto the next nail until they finish. In Crimson Desert (2026): NPCs endlessly hit the same rocks without a purpose while clipping through them.

@DXFromYT Plus the idea that videogames are universally improved by more detail... Sometimes it's cool to see little touches but... someone spent time making horse balls dynamically shrink in RDR2 and, gonna be honest, I think that time was wasted and could be used somewhere else xD

@DXFromYT It really has. I've seen so many people in the past argue that in just showing clips that Crowbcat is "objective" and "unbias" and it's so frustrating because editing exists, the Kuleshov effect exists, even the title pushes you in a certain way. It's super manipulative stuff.

I personally find Arc Raider's UI more difficult to use than Marathon's. While Marathon's UI has a learning curve for the iconography, I actually found it faster and easier to navigate once I got the hang of it. Not trying to start something, both games have their merits :)

Marathon fans are left wondering "what happened?" as the Cryo Archive event that they expected to reignite the community has resulted in Marathon's worst weekend, ever. Its Saturday peak was lower than Friday (AGAIN) and it was also lower than the previous Monday and every single weekday before that. An important note is that the Cryo Archive is ONLY available on the weekend and it's still struggling to get players back online. Spiraling.
