@1nk5w3At3r It’s pretty nothing tbh. It’s basically just adapting the stuff from when you get home during two days left with minor changes, then skips headspace to go straight to the spirit Mari scene since the manga already showed black space last chapter

At the very least it seems we will be wrapping up the manga relatively soon, assuming we don’t get another hiatus

@HeroMari_143 @Phoque_Yu Yeah this dialogue is also in the game, it’s actually one of my favorite bit of storytelling, since HS Mari isn’t really shown to get angry due to her sanitization, so you’re more likely to lean towards it beng Hero until you get to this part

I think Basil would flirt with Sunny in a very poetic way. He mentions that he and Sunny share their pain and how their souls are entangled together through fate. Meanwhile Hero flirts with Mari by saying “are you from Tennessee? Cause you’re the only ten I see”

@ALIENCHAMPION From a writing perspective, I find it strange that only two party members directly parallel sunnys role in the incident by getting angry and overwhelmed and pushing someone close to them. This is just my opinion though, trying to rationalize the setting change

@ALIENCHAMPION Whether Kel can understand sunnys actions on a character level isn’t really what I’m talking about, though I do believe this would give him insight in post-game

kel doesnt nneed a moment reflecting sunny because his moment is being yelled st by hero and being the only one of the group that can understand the deepseated confusion and terror of the sibling you consider a safespace yelling at u.he can understand sunnys emotions

ORRR there’s not a plan here and this scenes about to be really dumb

Then they can include a nod to the oyasumi ending but have him land in a bush or something

Aubrey being on top of the church instead of her room is interesting. My mind is spinning with ideas here. Number one is that I think Kel is going to end up pushing someone so that hero Kel and Aubrey all have a moment where they reflect sunny pushing Mari

@0LDMANSUNTAN Probably so they can see basils grandma get rushed to the hospital themselves instead of just getting told about it later by Polly. Or not, lol, every time I’ve tried to rationalize a change in the manga with something they could do interesting, it hasn’t happened

Obviously I wasn’t expecting it to confirm smoothie theory or give more information about daisies. But removing nearly all of the melancholic black space rooms where stranger talks about basils feelings is something else, man

I still really don’t think the manga benefited from the shuffling around of headspace and Rw segments though. Overall, the manga has stripped out a lot of the things I like most about omori and hasn’t replaced it with anything I consider worthwhile

Since I just played this part of the game again, I decided to go back and read through the past couple manga chapters. Black Space is alright but there’s a certain tone that is lost by cutting out so much of the stranger stuff
