Today's show: Why the contrived panic to rip up rural America for hyperscale surveillance centers is the new covid. youtu.be/H-vrt8Yvf5c @KristenMeghan explains how the clamor to build these things all over rural America is just like the clamor to make everyone wear masks (that she fought in 2020) under the guise of achieving some sort of national agenda. And just like with children wearing masks all day, we have not vetted the infrasound effects from some of these facilities.

Philip Foust for Marion County Prosecutor
The status quo in Marion County of coddling criminals has to stop. As your next prosecutor, I will: 🎯Tackle juvenile crime head-on: clear standards and real consequences; we can't afford to ignore this crisis or treat juvenile offenders like they are the victims. 🎯Refocus the office away from political trends and back towards the core mission: enforcing the law, seeking justice for victims, and protecting the public. 🎯Repair partnerships across the justice and public safety systems: public safety in Marion County requires an all-hands-on-deck approach rather than a prosecutor who alienates police, surrounding prosecutors, the statehouse, and every other potential partner. Thanks, @hammerandnigel and @93wibc.

Two scientists just got federally charged in Detroit for smuggling 113 vials of deactivated mpox virus into the US from Africa. They were caught at the airport with the vials in a plastic case, tried to brush it off as “testing equipment,” and one reportedly told agents, “You don’t need papers. I do this all the time.”

WOAH 🚨 House Oversight hearing reveals that HUNDREDS of home health care and daycare companies were looked at with Somali, Bhutanese, or other African-origin names as owners, and 100% OF THEM ENDED UP BEING FRAUD Read that again “You identified multiple individuals and LLCs that, that you believe engaged in fraud. How many of these had Somali or Bhutanese or other African origin names?” “100% — I looked at the names of hundreds of companies” For those that don’t know, Luke Rosiak Rosiak has been testifying about patterns in Medicaid and home health care billing fraud, in places like Ohio and Minnesota He examined LLCs and companies involved in fraudulent billing for home health services, daycares, welfare programs His says almost all the suspicious entities he reviewed had operators and owners with Somali, Bhutanese, or other African-origin names Diversity is not our strength. These people do not care about us or our country. They have zero integrity Send them ALL back

Rep. Roy: "We also shouldn't be ignoring the fact we have codified NOTHING of what the President has done. This Republican Congress has not done what we did in H.R. 2, has not dealt with asylum, has not dealt with parole, has not dealt with catch and release. We need to do more than just clean up the sloppy mess the Democrats are creating and actually deliver for the American people."

Much dishonest hand wringing by regime mouthpiece @business and the deep state--but they make our point for us: The CFPB has the DNA of @SenWarren and those who worked there bullied business and Americans because they viewed them as political enemies. That's why under @russvought we've spent over a year cleaning up their mess of: ▪️"legal theories" that had never been used before ▪️Stasi-like threats to businesses and demanding millions from them without telling them why ▪️trying to shut down companies because the CFPB hated the 1st & 2nd Amendments Further, since its inception, the CFPB has cost the American people nearly $369 BILLION. That's an average for $1,700 extra for each originated mortgage. Still much work for us to do.
Bloomberg@business

Russell Vought has gutted the CFPB, and in dozens of cases refused to enforce settlements and pursue lawsuits to the benefit of companies like Walmart, Toyota and others. bloomberg.com/features/2026-…

NEWS ALERT from @FBIDetroit: Two researchers with the National Institutes of Health were charged with conspiracy to smuggle monkeypox into the United States and giving false statements to federal law enforcement. A federal complaint alleges that the researchers told Customs and Border Protection (CBP) their case contained diagnostic and testing equipment. However, a investigation by CBP and #FBI agents uncovered 113 vials, 18 of which have been verified to contain monkeypox as of today’s date. This investigation was conducted by the FBI Detroit Joint Terrorism Task Force, along with assistance from the @FBIBillings' Missoula Resident Agency, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection team at Detroit Metro Airport, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – OIG. I will soon be introducing a bill to give the public a 50% ownership stake in the largest AI companies in America. This would guarantee that the trillions created by AI are used to improve the lives of all of us — and block oligarch decisions that harm the American people.

“Sudden And Unexpected”
“Canada Modelling Non-Voluntary Euthanasia to Save Trillions?” 🇨🇦 A new academic study is calculating how much money the government could save by dramatically expanding euthanasia .. including “non-voluntary” scenarios for vulnerable people. They’re literally running the numbers on ending lives without consent as a budget solution. That’s not dystopian fiction… that’s a real paper being discussed right now. The study projects potential savings of up to $1.27 trillion by 2047. Full paper here: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/00… The authors themselves raise serious ethical concerns about turning assisted dying into a cost-saving tool for the state. What do you think? When did we start treating human lives like line items on a spreadsheet?

The reason life feels like it’s gotten twice as expensive since Covid is because the dollar has lost 50 percent of its purchasing power since 2019. That’s a huge collapse that almost no one is talking about
Jeffrey A Tucker@jeffreytucker

I keep playing with data from @tomselliott's reality index.co and using Grok. Here I isolate 2019 and track purchasing power from 1 and down. It reveals a 50% fall since lockdowns. Jaw on floor.

The only thing that stops violent men from raping you and your society are other men who are equally willing to be violent in stopping the rapists. The West has decided that the highest virtue is to quietly comply with the destruction of your civilization because to do otherwise is bigoted toward the rapists. It really is that simple.

INDIANA DATA CENTERS!!!!!!!!!! Last month, when Good Jobs First released its report on the hidden costs of data centers, Indiana was among the states we called out for failing to report how much it loses to sales and use tax breaks. The question isn’t whether Indiana has hyperscale data centers. Indeed, the state posts the tax abatement agreements online — but it was failing to report how much tax revenue was being lost. Amazon, Microsoft, and Google all have massive campuses underway in the northern part of the state. Now, thanks to reporting by WTHR-TV in Indianapolis — and sustained pressure from Good Jobs First — Indiana has finally opened its books. The numbers are big. You pay sales tax. Some Indiana data centers didn’t. Here’s what we found Indiana just disclosed taxpayers are losing over $655 million annually through these exemptions, according to WTHR-TV. Most of that – $561 million – is going to one corporate giant: Amazon. Other recipients include DX Hammond Opco, LLC at $28.4 million since 2022, Blocke LLC at $12.3 million, Hatchworks LLC at $2 million, and two Digital Egg projects totaling roughly $1.4 million combined. This total is likely incomplete because several active projects have yet to report any abated taxes. It also doesn’t include local property tax breaks. The reporting gap appears to stem from an unusual arrangement between the quasi-public Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and the state Comptroller, who publishes Indiana’s year-end tax expenditure reports. Under state law, the IEDC is responsible for collecting information about tax-abated investments at data center projects and reporting them to the Comptroller. After Good Jobs First and WTHR-TV pressed the Comptroller’s office to get the data, IEDC provided updated totals. At $655 million lost per year, Indiana is headed rapidly toward the dubious club of states already known to be losing more than $1 billion per year to data centers: Georgia, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia (Illinois may be in this club as well, though the state is three years behind in disclosure, having last reported $361 million). Others still in the dark should take their cue from the Hoosier State, including Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Utah. In addition to aggregate totals, states should report company-specific and project-specific data, local revenue losses, backfill prior years of missing information, and require companies to annually disclose how much in taxes they aren’t paying. Lawmakers should also make clear that the logic of taxpayer confidentiality has no place here. Sales tax exemptions are not private income tax returns. No competitor could gain an advantage from knowing how much a company did not pay in sales and use tax. Taxpayers have a right to know what they are giving up. Indiana’s new disclosure makes clear how much watchdog groups and local journalism still matter. Without pressure from reporters and public-interest advocates, hundreds of millions of dollars in lost public revenue might have remained hidden indefinitely. Now, Hoosiers can begin to have a more fully informed conversation about whether they’d rather spend money on roads, schools, parks, and healthcare, or give Amazon (with its current market capitalization of $2.9 trillion) another handout. @MicahBeckwith @LGMicahBeckwith @GovBraun @Jim_Banks @indianagop @INFREEDOMCAUCUS @HeritageIndiana @Jamie4INgov @Trevor4indiana @JayStarkeySen6 @JimTomes49
