I raised the matter of the awful condition of Saddle Road in Maraval in Parliament on Friday night. The Minister of Works claimed that I should have addressed this while I was Government, completely ignoring the fact that maintenance of the Road abruptly stopped on May 1, 2025

For months, there have been terrible traffic jams in Maraval due to the bad condition of Saddle Road as a result of WASA leaks. It takes hours to get home now in the afternoon with traffic backed up all the way to the Savannah. This is the worst I have seen in 34 years as the MP

It is an extreme form of gaslighting (psychological manipulation) for a UNC Government Minister to insinuate that the PNM Government did not take the necessary action to prevent Dana Seetahal's tragic death, when in fact the UNC was in Government in 2014 when she was murdered

The PM recently claimed that the only job options available for persons who don’t pass their exams are "low-paying menial jobs or becoming PNM MPs". However, that statement accurately describes at least one current UNC Minister while two other UNC MPs have dubious "degrees"

Trinidad is really beautiful. Today a large school of dolphins swam through between Gasparee Island and Monos Island, jumping out of the water, creating an almost magical experience. See videos below. It is moments like this that allow us to forget our crazy politics for a while

@marisekjg Exactly. There's a leak and big hole on Saddle Rroad just before Lynch Drive going into Maraval, and they have dug it up and paved it over 5 times in the last 8 months, and the work is so badly done that it lasts for no more than 1 to 2 days and then the leak bursts out again

The Guardian just can't stop being biased. Today, it claimed that the economy is not performing any worse under the UNC than under the PNM. Absolute rubbish. Prior to 2025, we had 3 consecutive years of increasing economic growth, but in 2025, the economy declined (see attached)

Today, the European Union removed Trinidad and Tobago from the list of non cooperative countries for tax transparency (EU blacklist), as a result of the work WE did before the April 2025 General Election. Nothing to do with the UNC but they will try to take credit for OUR work

As MP, I have arranged financial assistance for years for Carnival activities in Paramin, such as the Junior Jab competition, Jouvert etc. This year, the new Government gave no financial assistance to the traditional groups who manage these activities. So, I sponsored everything
