Chain-of-Experts IndexAI's AI Agent utilizes functions called Experts, which are able to be directed to get specific data after a user’s intent is understood. When a prompt is multi-layered (complex), it requires a Chain-of-Experts to execute. One Expert might be doing “read-only” jobs, and then pass the processed data to the next Expert, who will then make decisions based on the knowledge accrued. Currently this feature only works for research purposes in fetching on-chain data, but to take it a step further, what if the way we trade is revolutionized? Instead of manually trading tokens through DEX’s or CEX’s we could utilize AI to execute those actions automatically. An example of this would be: • Expert 1: Monitor ETH price, if ETH price > $4,000, trigger Expert 2. • Expert 2: Sell 10 ETH @$4,000, trigger Expert 3. • Expert 3: Send a post on Farcaster, “I've sold 10 ETH @$4,000”. This process is potentially infinite, with more complex prompts adding more Experts to the chain, creating endless use cases.

AI Agents + Experts Bridging AI to blockchain requires a multi-layered approach. Pre-existing open-source LLMs serve as the base, which then direct specialized queries about blockchain to custom Experts. Each Expert may have different sources of knowledge, (for example RSS3's on-chain data) allowing functional training to further the LLMs utility and user application. Experts may have different capabilities depending on how they were programmed. One Expert might be doing “read-only” jobs, and passes the processed data to the next Expert, who will then make decisions based on the knowledge accrued. Any form of text data can be plugged into the Agent, via a new Expert. Meaning the application is only limited by our collective imagination.
