The Constitutional Court will tomorrow hear the consolidated petitions challenging Uganda’s sweeping and repressive Anti-homosexuality Act. The proceedings will start at 10.00 am in the court’s 4th Floor courtroom. At the court’s direction, all the parties filed written submissions and agreed not to introduce any new documents or pleadings.

The challenge to Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023 is under court review. We'll be notified via email when the ruling is ready. We await the judgment, where the court will decide if Uganda's constitution ensures equal protection for all,including marginalized minorities without discrimination. #HumanRightsAreUniversal @SwedEnvoyUganda
