@dissident1000 When you factor in pensions, yes. But are you really arguing for something you’ll receive to be taken away from you? £12,500/year.
- Unless you make shed loads and have a good private pension (most don’t) it would be silly to make the argument for it to be taken away from you.

If you’re talking about 25% of the population being on welfare of some kind, it’s actually a lot lower than that at 14.5% excluding state pension and 35% including state pension.
