Hey guys, I'm happy to share the freelance project I did with Yoel Pereira López Concept Art was done by Chahat Bavanya Yoel was responsible for environment, modeling, texturing and surfacing. I was responsible for lighting and compositing It was really fun to work on this shot using a different lighting approach. To get this stylized cartoon look, we decided not to use the usual PBR workflow and instead focused on the scene’s albedo colors. I created the lights in 3D with simple white flat shading, then graded them in Nuke and layered them over the albedo. This way, I had full control over the final look and could adjust the style exactly how I wanted. Lighting with #Cinema4D/#Maya & #Arnold, Composited in #Nuke.
