Madison Bulldogs (8M-I, 7-3) take down a very solid Ell-Saline team 14-12 on the road tonight to become Regional Champs. The Bulldogs are coached by Nathan Teichgraeber and move to 7-3 on the year. They will match up against Clifton-Clyde next week in Sectionals. #sportsinkansas

Trump is President-elect for two days: - Stock market hits record high - Migrant caravan at our border dissolves - Hamas calls for end to war - Bitcoin hits record high - Putin ready to end Ukraine war - Qatar kicks out Hamas leaders - EU will buy U.S. gas not Russian gas - Putin will sell oil in U.S. dollars - Zelenskyy phones Trump & Elon - NYC Mayor ends vouchers for illegals - Mexico to stop migrants at U.S. border - China wants to work peacefully with us - Big U.S. company to move out of China I repeat: Trump has been President-elect for two days.

Landon Boss of Osage City HS pictured two years ago at our POY event really shining in his sophomore year at #14 Butler CC🏈. He has 61 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 2 interceptions from his linebacker spot and showing he’s one of the best in the Jayhawk Conference at 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds. In high school he was one of the best multiple sport athletes we’ve covered over the last 13 years, earning all state in three sports (basketball, throwing in track) and being the 2A DPOY from SIK as well as being an all state QB. Boss had zero FBS offers in high school and will now have the opportunity to play FBS football as he holds an offer from Eastern Michigan. Explosive athlete showing college’s they missed out of high school two years ago. #sportsinkansas

NEW: MLB players are doing Trump-inspired celebrations after Trump was nearly assas*inated at his Pennsylvania rally last week. Tampa Bay Rays player Taylor Walls was seen going "Fight, Fight" with his fist in the air. The St. Louis Cardinals’ dugout was seen holding their ears with their fists in the air after Alec Burleson hit a homerun.

Our season has come to an end. Five seniors played their final game of their college careers. We are grateful for them, and their teammates, for helping create expectations in the program over the past 3+ years. We finished the season with a 19-12 record and there wasn’t a player or coach in our locker room who wasn’t disappointed. For perspective, prior to our coaching staff’s arrival at Emporia State in the spring of 2018, the last time the program won at least 19 games was the 2006-07 season. However, we have elevated the expectations of the program. This is a good thing. Our program has won a combined 62 games the last three seasons, including back-to-back 20+ win seasons. We won in the first round of the NCAA tournament, and won back-to-back NCAA Helper-Helper community service national championships. These are all firsts in the 34 year NCAA-era history of Emporia State basketball. As the coming weeks pass, the disappointment our players feel of the season ending will transition to gratitude for the relationships made, the degree-progress earned, and the community impact that was achieved. The nostalgia will be sweet as the memories are recalled. Thanks to everyone for their support throughout the season. We are grateful to Hornet Nation and the community of Emporia for their love, energy, and time. God bless. Ecclesiastes 3:1
