@sandra_yoakum I have often wondered the same... or even if the old ways ... the old almanac... still exist. Orif the old times are gone and their methods lost forever.

@IslandCodger I think it has to do with the blood moon, things are are wacky. My grandpa always went by the almanac for farming, I wonder if anyone still does?

@sandra_yoakum It seems like spring is soon. They tell us it has been an uncommonly mild winter... so I guess that is good news and bad news (next winter!) . The geese have been travelling through, lots of hunters, but things are still brown.

It being too early to stay up and too late to climb back into the warm bed. I sipped yesterday’s coffee, hot and tasting flat, as the dog and I waited for dawn.

Is it too much to ask that those elected to local, state and federal offices not act like thugs? It’d be nice to see them speak without using the worst of the worst language and set an example for Americans.

@IslandCodger Morning 😁 hope all is well. I've been busy getting ready for our summer heat. Got my AC going yesterday, now for the umbrellas and getting the flowers situated. I have mostly heat resistant plants except for a few.

The road untraveled since yesterday morning's snow shower. Not much traffic here.
Mark, the neighbor, drives a Dodge pickup the color of dirt. Saturday, when he stopped by for coffee, I pointed out that he had washed it.
Being outsiders, our pickup is red and covered with mud.
