DAILY Clips with @evrythngissoft Operating under the alias littlecakes, this Japanese artist living in the West draws on her extensive career as a gallery director and art director to craft a unique digital space where AI acts as a portal into the "in-betweens" of identity and memory. littlecakes uses AI video to explore a surreal spectrum of experience, from imagined folklore and the paranormal to "murky" emotions that are simultaneously "cute" yet "horrific" and "really sad" yet "pretty". This reel highlights how she rejects straightforward categories to embrace the messy, sticky, and beautiful complexity of navigating two cultures through the lens of a new art tool.
