Per sources: James Pollard has agreed to join Kyle Green’s .@UNImbb staff. After four seasons as a student manager, Pollard was Video Coordinator on Ben Jacobson’s staff last season. He’s well regarded for his analytics work. Will have an Assistant Coach title on Green’s staff.

He took over my FR year and quite literally shaped my fandom. I worked in the ticket office as a student, down the hall from the BB office. He was 1 of 2 HC that would stop by almost daily to check how we were doing. He cared in ways others didn’t. Thanks for everything, Coach.

UNI didn’t actually hear their name called. CBS had sent them a direct feed that was supposed to be faster than the broadcast, however, someone at the network punched up something wrong, so all they saw was a feed of Hofstra celebrating when their selection came up.
