Excited / nervous and many other emotions to start as a new consultant (ST9?) today in Gen Paeds 😬 Its been a long journey - 10 hospitals. 2 years, 18 supervisors (some repeatedly, sorry!) several cars, innumerable brightly coloured shoes, and 1 CCT.

Are you a paeds trainee with no SPA time in your rota? Paid time for QI, audit, eportfolio etc? The RCPCH Trainee Charter says you need a MINIMUM of 4 hours a month. If you're not getting SPA & are doing stuff in your own time? You need to exception report for the overtime.

And otherwise I guess the scenario runs the same as a sepsis one but with PIMS-TS coming out as a differential in the discussion??
