Of the 22 permanent public restrooms in Downtown San Diego, only 2 locations (with a total of 9 toilets) are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At night, there is approximately 1 permanent toilet for every 215 unsheltered people — growing from 1:190 since December 2022.
