Hi everyone! Today marks the beginning of the 12 months celebration for the 40th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda 😁 This series didn’t just shape my childhood, it shaped my entire creative journey. I’m currently working on a very ambitious project to celebrate this anniversary. I don’t want to rush it. I want to give it the time it deserves so I can deliver the level of quality you’ve come to expect from my videos. Thank you for your patience and for being part of this adventure with me. And thank you to Nintendo for creating a world that has inspired generations of players and creators. None of this would have happened if I hadn’t played A Link to the Past when I was 6 years old. The Legend of Zelda turns 40 this weekend! 🎊 To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to post my entire strategy guide, along with production shots from when I was working on it and some additional thoughts. So, whether you've seen this guide a million times or not, I hope you learn something new. We'll start with the cover. The cover is essentially my take on the classic Disk System flyer. I love this ad and thought it would be fun to pay tribute to it. As you can see Link doesn't have a shield on the original art piece. I struggled with that and added a shield in post. I thought it worked much better that way. I also did a little bit of touch up on both Link and Zelda's faces. Note: This is broken up into TWO large threads since I've maxed this out!
