Won't shock anyone, but Caulfield winning lanes at 200m mark: 6,4,6,6,8,7,6,6,8,7 (via Daily Sectionals).
Caulfield has raced very well in recent times. Unfortunately the past two meetings have bucked that trend.

The easy answer is don’t stop play.
Does it have risk? Yes. Is that part of the game, also yes.
If it’s a clear concussion etc, call it. Otherwise trainers get out there and protect player as best they can until they can get them off.

@NicNegrepontis The whole thing has no easy answer People often say "oh he's just got X, why are we stopping play". Well how is the ump supposed to know that? They aren't doctors No doubt these same people would be slaughtering umps if they let play continue around a badly injured player

I get Carlton fans are hate watching Curnow. They’ll see the Swans wins more games than the Blues, so good luck to them. But you do realise McCartin went forward to even up numbers so Hawthorn didn’t have a spare behind the footy? Blakey was also in F50 too.

Mr. Curnow’s near-complete refusal to lead-up at the ball is a lot easier to watch now he’s wearing a different jumper.
He hits up every so often - and looks dangerous doing so - but too often opts to engage in wrestles which play into the hands of his opponent.
