If Utah State was a 5 or 6 seed like they probably should have been, they are headed to the Sweet 16 & maybe even Elite 8. They got a tough draw and were way better than it, as has been typical of MW teams over the years. Looking forward to new PAC12 where it is a top 5 MBB conf.

FINAL: Utah State's excellent 2025-26 season comes to an end against top-seeded Arizona in the round of 32, 78-66. Game was much closer than the final score, but USU can't get the threes at the end and Arizona closes it out at the line. Absolutely no reason for the Aggies to hang their heads. Man, you triple Utah State's roster budget like the admin is aiming for, pick up some extra strength of schedule help in the Pac-12, and you've got a stew going in Logan. Feels like the closest this program has been to fully breaking through

The Mountain West champ went toe to toe with the Big 12 champ for much of this game. Major credit again to Utah State. A program that no matter what coach or player leaves, finds a way. Arizona is a juggernaut, but were tested here. Moving on to the Sweet 16🌵
