There was some concern of getting things out of digital designs for the SSCS ChipAThon, so we updated our Drop-In-JTAG HDL open-source design : github.com/stineje/Drop-I…. We included a simple example showing how you can output items easily + a nice FPGA compile for ArtyA7-100T. Enjoy! #JTAG

Regardless of what people believe about Steve Jobs, his companies definitely innovated and he got his staff to do great things! I certainly admire the products and innovation that were produced. I admire his vision and the passion he brought to creating products that inspired both engineers and users alike.

Who out there would find a Computer Architecture blog or podcast interesting? What if I arranged to do one in collaboration with folks like @AMD, @Arm, @intelnews, @risc_v?

On some level I agree. But on another I don't. Many friends have entered software engineering without formally studying it, but they're *very* smart women and men who could easily understand this, if it was ever made accessible. I intend to make it more accessible to everyone.

@_iandatux_ Sorry..our formatter from Elsevier has been working on way too long much to our dismay (since ~Nov 2024). I hope you will still take a look.

@JamesStineJr I was waiting enough months and I got tired of so many "release dates" that ended up being delayed time and time again. I finally cancelled my order...
It's worse than GTA 6. 🤦

Love my new Python class ecen4293 that integrates numerical methods with Python. I hope the students love it as much as I love them - they are all great. We did a little QR mini tournament today comparing to SciPy and NumPy. It was a great start to the Thanksgiving week. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
