Y’all I had given up on politics to the point where I thought whoever wins what the fuck. No more. I am as excited about politics as I was in 2008. YES WE CAN! I am 💯 % behind Vice President Kamala Harris. As a gay man I’ve always felt a bond with Black women for some reason. And that is what our country needs. A Black woman running the show. I said what I said and if you disagree fuck off.

@montef I don’t even watch local news anymore. I just happened to see this when Mom had it on. From experience, I can tell you they do not like it when a mistake is pointed out.

@JasonDurden Lawd, don’t get me started on spelling and grammar mistakes that make it to print and/or air….! SMH The number of times I’ve pointed it out to WSBTV and to the AJC, and nobody goes back and fixes it or even bothers to reply and say “oops. Thanks”. I’m embarrassed for them!

The crawl on a local Savannah station says Kamala Harris’ rally set for Friday in Savannah (and I was invited!) had to be “post-poned” due to #Debby. It is pathetic that not one person at that station has caught that mistake. This is what happens when you push out all the experienced folks for a skeleton crew of kids. No word on when or if it will be “re-poned”.

The rain continues to fall in Statesboro. I’m guessing about 10’’ so far. Thankfully the wind is not to bad. Has some small limbs to pick up this morning…but all trees still standing. #Debby

Here in SE GA bands of heavy rain have been coming through all afternoon. Our ground is soaked so once the wind starts up I’ll be up all night watching the trees. 🌳 💨 🪵

My office is closed today and tomorrow due to Debby. Rainfall total predictions are all over the place with totals anywhere from 10”-30”. My biggest concern are all the trees. Our ground is already saturated from a rainy summer.
