I guess I should introduce myself, huh? Hey, everyone! My name is Jayce! I am the owner, operator and head mechanic at Talis Auto Body! I've been running the shop with my mom for the past four years now, but apparently Cait says I should 'Branch out' more. So, here I am!

I feel so happy right now. I'm on the patio, smoking a cigarette and just smiling. Am I nervous? Yeah. Am I excited? Very.

Headed home. Viktor and I talked it out, and honestly? I haven't been this excited to know someone in a long time. He's an incredibly special person, and I can't wait to see what happens. AND I remembered my laptop this time 🤘🏽

@JayTMech -Viktor feels his heart fluttering in his chest, he was probably already done for- Thank you Jayce, I'm just glad to be spend time with you and if we ever get there... I know I can trust you.

-The back door to the café that leads to the stairs to Viktor’s home is unlocked for him, and Jayce locks it behind him before going up. His home is just as cozy as the first time he was here, and Viktor turns to look at him from the couch.- Hey, Viktor. Thank you...for this.

@viktor_bnb (He feels so cozy in my arms...) -Jayce smirks and rests his cheek at the top of Viktor’s head- I promise to be your friend first, Vik. I wanna get to know you. I wanna do right by you. And if we do end up together, I don't want it to be a one night thing. You deserve more.

@JayTMech Absolutely. -Viktor moves closer to let Jayce wraps his big arms around him, and doing the same, holding him tightly and burying his face in his chest- (This is really comforting...)

@viktor_bnb I would love to get a hug, Vik. Honestly, I've been waiting all day for it. -Jayce opens his arms wide, motioning for Viktor to come closer- Bear hugs okay with you?

@JayTMech -Viktor smiles fondly at him, feeling better after Jayce's explanations- We can take it slow, then, of course. Would you still like this hug I promised you by message yesterday?

@viktor_bnb I would like that...but like...I'm not opposed to flirting with you, Vik. I'm not. If I'm gonna be honest, I would have asked you out already if I wasn't a mess. -Jayce squeezes Viktor’s hand softly- This is gonna be corny as fuck...be patient with me? I'll get there. I swear.

@JayTMech What happened is unfortunate, but I don't think it's really your fault and... I understand better about your fears now. If you need time, I can respect that, we can just be friends for now, spend time together, and get more acquainted, there's no rush.

@viktor_bnb -the warmth of Viktor’s hands make him jump, but Jayce closes his hand around Viktor’s gently- I guess I was...but I still hurt her. I don't want to do the same to you, you know? It's easier with a dedicated schedule.

@JayTMech -Viktor listened to everything calmly, nodding a few times in understanding until Jayce was done, he reached out gently for Jayce's hands with his owns, holding them while searching his eyes- I'm sorry Jayce, it sounds like you were really going through it

@viktor_bnb She left one day...and I knew then it was my fault. I loved her. I thought I was gonna marry her...but I lost sight of her. And she left me after telling me she couldn't watch me rip myself up anymore. She couldn't...'fix me'. I left university after that. I never saw her again.

@viktor_bnb overwhelmed. The projects, the deadlines. I lost so much sleep I felt like a zombie. My mental health practically fell down a ravine. Our time together just got pushed to the side. Dates got canceled. Anniversaries were forgotten. And eventually, she just couldn't do it anymore.

@viktor_bnb -Jayce closes his eyes for a moment and clasps his hands together on his knees before looking at Viktor again- Because...I'm a coward. Vik...I already like you so, so much. You're brilliant, you're funny, you're attractive...and I'm scared. After my last breakup, I'm...well...

@JayTMech ... You did? Then...? (Then why did he leave...?) -Viktor looks at him patiently, his eyes now meeting his, waiting for Jayce to keep talking-

@viktor_bnb (Moment of truth...) -Jayce nods and turns to face him, eyes finding the brights of Viktor’s golden gaze- You don't have anything to be sorry for, Vikki. To be honest... -Jayce swallows hard, his hands quivering- To be honest, I wanted to stay. I wanted...what you did.

@JayTMech There's nothing to apologize for, Jayce. I shouldn't have... It's nothing. (This atmosphere feels tense... What should I say?) So, about what you wanted to tell me? I'm ready, and listening.

@viktor_bnb -Jayce shrugs, smiling easily at the younger man on the couch- Thats my secret, V. I'm tired all the time. I'm good. -Jayce walks to the couch, taking a seat tentatively at the edge of the cushion, folding his hands in his lap and breathing deep- I'm sorry. For yesterday, V.

@JayTMech -Viktor looks up from his phone he had been fidgeting with nervously for the last minutes while waiting for Jayce to look at him- H-Hi, Um... You can come have a seat, not too tired?
