In 2020 I opened a Stocks & Shares ISA with Vanguard. Quietly paid £300 in each month to a low fee index fund. 6 years later we are currently sat at £94,000. I have increased my contributions in recent years. But the power of compounding helped me get there. You never think you’ll hit these numbers until you do. Just keep going people 🫡

GM! ☕️ Not the best 24 hours but all a part of the process. Just remember this is normal. Are you buying anything today?

@JordInvests I think it’s a fair pullback considering the run we’ve had, hoping for some consolidation into another few +%

@DrHenryinvestor For me, I like to let the ETF do the hard work. This will most likely out perform post single stock pickers long term. But nice to have 10%-20% in singles dependant on your risk tolerance

Need honest investing advice from FT/X. I’m 41. Doctor. Late investor. Wife + 3 kids. Current portfolio: • £83696 core VWRP core • £6270k growth ETFs (CNX1/SMGB/EXCS) Total - £89966 • plan is to build the growth sleeve to £15k • Planned £5k speculative sleeve for crypto etc Total target: £100k I have accumulated this capital - starting 2024 - using just ETFs But lately I’ve been developing serious FOMO watching people make huge gains in single stocks. Part of me wants to ditch the ETF strategy completely and go concentrated. Another part says I should be protecting my base . At this stage of life is capital accumulation not more important than taking risk finding the next 10x bagger ? On the other hand with no bonds or gold some may even consider this portfolio too aggressive Am I being too conservative for my age and situation? Or is this just investor psychology? What would you do in my position?

GM! ☕️ Slight pullback yesterday from £94,000 which is to be expected. Took some profits on $SIVE after a 70% gain in a day. Have a good day people 🤝
