Germany’s contrition for #Holocaust & for the #Herero genocide in Namibia and its rebirth as a liberal modern state is inspiring. But “never again” has become “again and again” in several places not least in #Tigray #Ethiopia and Germany’s passive response is disappointing.

Today in 1945 Auschwitz was liberated. On this day #weremember the atrocities committed in the name of Germany and the 6 million Jews who we murdered during the #Holocaust. It remains our lasting responsibility to not let something like this happen again. @IsraelinET
