Heard someone say that Dawn wasn’t coaching hard because she wasn’t doing this. THIS is not coaching. This is a tantrum, possibly to bait the crowd into a frenzy, but as we saw, did Not help her team adjust and get the win. Dawn outcoached her again. With poise.

@HJhughes79 This assumes you have to get one of the five people Jimmy Sexton pays ESPN to talk about. Indiana got Cignetti when none of the blue bloods were targeting him. There are a lot of good football coaches out there, but only if you widen your search beyond the “anointed” hires.

Well I gave Beamer a 5 year head start on me and in year 5 he only won 4 more games this year than I would’ve won if I was the head coach. So the “who you gonna get that’s better” argument really doesn’t mean shit to me.

@HJhughes79 Name another SEC school serious about football that keeps a coach who goes 1-7 in conference in year five. You can’t, because there isn’t one.

No way the AD should have come out this week and announced Beamers job was safe. No way. Everything he’s done this year should have at least made this a decision that came after this game. And I’ve seen enough this year to believe we are looking for a new coach a year from now.

This performance pretty much sums it up for South Carolina's 2025 season. One of the more talented teams in recent memory marred by coaching malfunctions, no leadership and players failing to live up to expectations. The blame's program-wide.

Getting a high tier coach is about talent identification, not name recognition. It’s not emotion to say 1-7 in SEC is unacceptable in year 5, it’s empirical.

@JustinLanceSim1 @nohhaleSC @BCrawford247 So again, that’s emotion. The reality is we are a 3rd tier program right now and not a destination for high tier coaches. Add to that PSU, UF, LSU, Auburn just to name a few need new coaches. We’d be picking out of a bargain bin at dollar general
