It's always wonderful meeting new people on an adventure - shown is the group I hiked with around the Swiss Alps last month 👋🏻. I trained for the expedition with Cheryl, Gordon, Sarah, Helene, Yvonne & Paula in the UK. And we joined more adventurers for the trip. 🥾🥾🏔️

Would you go this far for THIS view 😍? Croix de Javerne🇨🇭is 2097 metres up (6,880 feet) with a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of the Rhone Valley. Gorgeous! 🏔️

TBT to the place that makes my heart sing ❤️ and my soul rejoice. This was our second visit to Molveno in the Italian Dolomites and 🤞🏻 will not be our last!

Exhausted but happy🤗 I've just returned from a trip to Switzerland & the views were spectacular as you can see! Sore feet but full ❤️.

This time last year we set off to find this waterfall because it was mentioned in the Guardian. And when we did find it (it's in the North Pennines) we were the only ones there. Perfection! ❤️

I'm meant to be walking round the Matterhorn today. It's not gone to plan due to the weather, but all hope is not lost! 🤞🏻for me 🤗

There aren't any bears in Scotland...are there? 😂 We spotted these lovely 🐻🐻on a cycle ride between Fort William and Glengarry in the Scottish Highlands. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

So happy to be in Scotland if only for a few days. Had a wonderful cycling adventure with @nnife.r & kudos to @scotrail who made travelling with bikes easy!

🥾Training for the Matterhorn continues! This was our second hike to prepare for our trip to the Swiss-Italian alps in June. 🗻We travelled to the Lake District to climb Skiddaw, the 6th highest mountain in England. 💪🏻It was 3,054 feet (931m) to the summit. Back of the net!

❤️ for Mango 🐾 in #NationalPetMonth. Her time in the spotlight! She does accompany me on a few adventures, loves hiking, swimming and has even tried out a paddleboard

🌉 Not just any bridge! This is the Royal Border Bridge, one of the finest viaducts in the world! Opened by Queen Victoria and has no fewer than 2️⃣8️⃣ arches! 📍Sadly it doesn't actually link England and Scotland (the border is 3 miles further north).

🏝️Now that's a beach! Waimanalo in Hawaii is one of my all-time favourite beaches. Three miles of gorgeous white sand is to die for! If it seems familiar - Magnum PI and Hawaii Five-O were filmed there. 🎦 All-round dreamy 😍

When I'm 80 and I come across this photo of me "fat biking" in Finland, I'll remember that it took me 5 hours to cycle 12 miles (16km) in the snow! And the times I fell off the bike. There may have been swearing 🤬😂. I'd look back and think "I'm glad I did that!" 💪🏻.

📚TBT to finding my book at @snozone in Yorkshire! What a lovely surprise that was. It's #InternationalBookDay so it seems timely🤗. Its been some years since I had to scout around for a costume for my daughter - she will be at University soon!
