They could choose to call themselves "guides" and be a unisex organisation like the scouts but they cant allow any males access to the girl guides because its a female organisation.

@KateCommonsense @polblonde I got into conversation with a Green council candidate a couple of years ago. To be fair, he was not exactly bonkers, but, you know, party line and all that. At the end he begged me to concede that at least the Greens are not as bonkers on 'gender' as the SNP.

The idea that a man can be a woman/go into women’s spaces if he has had “the surgery” is as absurd as the idea that a man is a woman if he just says it.
1. Women are not castrated men.
2. A potential feature of autogynephilia is a castration fetish, so you’re potentially dealing with the *most* perverted men.
3. Human rights cannot be contingent on sterilization, and castration is sterilization. In fact one theory as to why “self ID” was pushed so ferociously is because governments realized they had constructed laws on the basis of sterilization & were therefore guilty of human rights abuse. WHOOPS.
The fact is, this whole issue is a mess that can only be cleaned up by being intellectually honest: men who claim to be women are men. Full stop.

If girl guides want to include some males they have to change the name to eg: guides. a unisex group.
