How do you all sleep with a paci without waking up in the morning with horrible teeth pain ;-; Feels like i am doing something wrong sometimes

@KettleDraws I tend to sleep with a paci very often and my teeth never hurt BUT!! i have a permanent retainer on my top and bottom row so nothing moves around. id say look into a retainer or guard of some sort! But everyone's mouth shape/size is different so!! it may only work for some! 🩷

@KettleDraws I seem to drop mine about 2 hours in, not so much a sleep aid as a falling asleep aid.

@Dragon_Roselynn Typically once in a few days for an hour or two? But then again i've had my paci for 5 years now since the bygone era of 2021

@KettleDraws how much are you using your paci during the day and how long are you using it for, it could just be trying to get used to it

@left_to_red_srq Aaah I see, but at the same time i've heard people having 0 issues with sleeping with the paci which is why i was wondering if it was possible

@KettleDraws When you sleep even your gums relax. For the teeth to mesh with each other they should be touching each other during this relax time. Adding the paci messes up with your nightly reset.

@KettleDraws I wear retainers at night and I don’t notice the issue as much as when I wear it during the day 😣 Have you considered something like a mouth guard? That may help keep everything aligned and prevent the pain
