Tomorrow I find out if I got an allocation of shares in a company I've been enamored with for almost a decade now. I'm investing in a company I believe in, one that represents American ingenuity. Everyday they're executing on a mission that many so called "experts" said couldn't be done. With more than 675 orbital launches. Falcon 9 success rate is over 99.5 percent. They've got one booster that has now flown 35 times. That's reusability in action. The same reusability that experts originally scoffed at. Reusing hardware like that slashes the biggest costs in spaceflight. It turns huge upfront money into something that pays off across dozens of missions. China and the rest of the world are hopelessly trying to catch up to Elon and his dream of space exploration and ingenuity. Then there's Starlink. It's making everything and everyone safer. Whether it's a sailboat in the middle of the Pacific, an airliner flying halfway around the world. Or our military harnessing high speed internet to get the mission done, or just to chat to loved ones back home. Over 10,400 satellites in orbit right now, serving more than 10 million customers worldwide. Subscription revenue coming in every month. They're providing a real product that's making a real difference to people. That's the kind of business that can fund bigger dreams without constant dilution. And those dreams they have are dreams that I share. Thirteen human spaceflight missions carrying fifty crewmembers total. Finally, we don't need to rely on Russia to get to space. Real operational experience that most new space companies are still dreaming about. But honestly, this whole thing is still just getting started. Starship is the real game changer and it's barely out of the test phase. That's when the real fun begins... Last year the whole world only launched about 3,000 tons of stuff into orbit...total. Mostly Starlink on Falcons. Starship changes the math completely. Each new V3 Starlink launch alone will deliver more than 20 times the capacity of current ones. They're already cranking out hardware at scale too. Hundreds of Raptor engines built and dozens of Starship vehicles. That production muscle is what lets them move fast and keep improving. They're moving forward on the future we all want to see, and I want to invest in that. I'm not looking for a quick trade here. I'm treating this like a lifetime hold. It may go up or down in the first six months, but that's not my concern. I'm in it for the long run. The biggest upside shows up over decades. Starship opens entirely new markets that don't really exist yet at scale. Cheaper access to orbit means way more satellites, in-space manufacturing, lunar logistics, and eventually stuff farther out. Starlink keeps compounding subscribers and cash flow that funds the heavy lifting without needing endless new investors. That's the flywheel I believe in. Lower costs drive more demand, which funds more innovation, which lowers costs again. It creates asymmetric returns for patient capital. SpaceX has already shown they can iterate faster than anyone else in the industry while delivering real operational results. For me it's simple. I want my money behind the team that's actually making space normal again. American engineering at its best, pushing hard on the hardest problems with real results to show for it. The company is still early in what it's capable of, and that's exactly why I'm in for the long run. This isn't about timing the market. It's about owning a piece of the infrastructure that opens up the next chapter for humanity. Never bet against Elon Musk.

Final thought for the night. For those who are attacking Elon Musk for being a trillionaire here are some things to consider... He is working to get us back to the moon. He has provided internet access to tens of millions of people who previously had no internet due to the remote places they lived. He is giving paraplegics the ability to interact with the world for the first time ever. He created a tunnel boring company to reduce traffic. He is creating autonomous cars which just happen to be some of the safest cars ever built. He is helping lead the expansion of renewable energy. He directly employs over 150,000 people, paying them good wages. He fights for free speech and has provided us with a platform free of government censorship. He doesn't buy yachts, or mega mansions in every state, or sit back and just lavish in his wealth. His money is tied up in the companies that improve everyone's lives. I wish we had a million people like Elon Musk, this world would be better off for it.

I love how so many people are flooding X right now trying to argue against buying $SPCX... on a platform owned by SpaceX. They are already invested in the company whether they realize it or not.

@LoriMills4CA42 Honestly, I think in the next six months you'll get a chance to get it at prices at or below the IPO price. Don't FOMO into it right now. Be patient and when everyone is fearful and the price is plummeting, that will be your chance to invest in this amazing company.

This is what all Americans should demand...give us the best qualfied for the job. The same way you demand the pilot who flies our commerical airlines are the best qualified for the job. Or the best athletes to represent your favorite sports team. Or the best CEO for the company you choose to invest in. Or the best Doctor to help save a childs life in the ER. When we demand the best person for a job, it forces everyone to try harder to be the best. This is how we encourage the youth of America to try. Every person will succeed and fail not based on the color of their skin, or their gender, but based on how hard they work and the skills they possess.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman@NASAAdmin

We are sending the best NASA astronauts based on crew rotation, background, and expertise on Artemis III. The same way we sent our best on Artemis II. The same way we send our best astronauts to the International Space Station, where the recent Crew-10 through Crew-13 assignments ALL include female commanders and crews that are no less than 50% female. Not because it was a requirement, but because they are the best astronauts for the job. Celebrate the Artemis III crew the same way we will celebrate all crews who follow that will walk again on the Moon.

Recap on my experience getting IPO allocated shares for SpaceX and the wild ride today. It wasn't until 0830 this morning that I finally saw I had been allocated shares of $SPCX via ETrade. I was fortunate enough to be allocated approximately 100 shares. I watched anxiously all morning at work, waiting for the stock to be actively traded. Finally, it kicked off. And weeks and months of planning was finally happening. Hell, I even slept like shit the night before over anticipation, which sounds foolish even now as I'm writing it. All morning I tried to decide if I would flip for a decent profit, or ride it out. I fully expect the value to decline, especially in October as more investors are able to exit their long held positions. Ultimately, I'm thrilled to have decided to hold onto these shares. As I posted yesterday, I'm investing in SpaceX because I believe in the mission, and believe there is greatness to come. The shares that I acquired today, I'll hold onto for decades. I hope to one day look back on today and realize that my investment my only made me a small fortune, but also helped me grab a bit of history as an investor in the most consequential company in the history of mankind. Im excited for the future. I will be waiting about 2-3 months before I start to slowly dollar cost average into the stock, buying a few more shares every month. Thank you Elon for deciding to take your company public and I hope you make good use of the money I have chosen to entrust in your company.

Daniel Penny restrained Jordan Neely on an NYC subway after Neely threatened to kill passengers and acted erratically, scaring others. Penny used a chokehold to subdue him until help came. Jury acquitted Penny. Karmelo Anthony stabbed Austin Metcalf at a Frisco track meet after a tent dispute. Metcalf pushed him to leave; Anthony had warned "touch me and see what happens" and used a knife from his bag. Jury found him guilty of murder. Circumstances not equivalent: active threats of death vs. minor physical confrontation. Penny's actions deemed justified; Anthony's were not. Morally distinct based on facts.

@BLuckey3 Hey @grok, please compare and contrast daniel penny and karmelo anthony. Please consider the circumstances in which they had to take the life of someone. Determine if they are morally equal comparisons.
