I assume its charlies own little storybook and how she interprets all the pieces of information she has
It'll be interesting to see it challenged in season 3

I just realized the book Charlie reads from in ep1 couldn't have been written when she was a little kid because it mentions the exterminations, which only started 7 years ago, nor could Lilith have written it if she disappeared around the same time the exterminations began 😭

@bookaboooo I see what you’re saying about Lilith, but wouldn’t Adam being an angel disqualify him from continuing to be human-human?
English

@Kryptoncats Well, yes. But Adam is human-human. Without horns, thin pupils or anything like that. And it's about Charlie's perception, too

@bargaincryptid @ok6ixx How can asexuality be treatable? That’s like saying your personality or your personal preferences are treatable. Your sexuality is a part of who you are.
English

@Kryptoncats @ok6ixx I can't see them either
Asexuality remains abnormal. It's often treatable. Making it an identity seems like poor planning.

My sister told me what happened in her biology class yesterday and it's genuinely heartwarming.
Her teacher is this super tall, awkward guy who's probably in his late 40s.
During a random conversation about relationships,
he casually mentioned he's never been married and never really felt attracted to anyone, like ever.
A girl in the class raised her hand and asked if he'd ever heard of asexuality. He looked completely confused.
So three students in the class all queer started explaining what asexuality was, how it's a real orientation,
and how there's a whole community of people who experience little to no sexual attraction.
My sister said his face lit up. Like, this grown man looked like he was about to cry. He got genuinely excited and kept asking questions.
It Turns out he'd spent his entire life thinking something was wrong with him for not feeling attraction the way everyone else seemed to.
A classroom full of chaotic teenagers just gave their middle-aged teacher the most validating moment of his life. He thanked them like five times before continuing the lesson.
