this wider WHITE demographic they keep chasing is very desperate and lame because it was your BLACK lead who put you on the map and gave you TWO critically acclaimed seasons and is also the very reason you were able to green light season 3… why are you so hell bent on chasing a audience that rejected a black lead queer show?

like i know jacob anderson loves sam reid and every creative behind iwtv with all his heart but it must feel so discouraging and quite sad to have led a show for 2 seasons but only see the show get substantial marketing when your white co-lead plays the titular role

not only is this insulting to everyone who worked on iwtv, to rolin’s vision, but it’s insulting to jacob, delainey, bailey & assad who led those two seasons. they put in so much love and hard work portraying their characters and this is what amc’s chief marketing exec said?

@transxhelsing Their Black leads (who legitimately carry the entire show) even got their flowers the last two seasons either. I haven’t watched any full eps yet either, but I think they’re gonna further prove what we already know. I’m so angry that they did this.

@transxhelsing The clips I just saw were not promising. It’s really disappointing how much this ended up being ✨ new marketing for a different audience✨ too. I knew they pushed this harder and put more $ into it, but I didn’t piece all of that together until. It’s so gross. And it’s not like-

where was this promotion for season one and season two? such a slap in the face to jacob, delainey, and bailey…. your actors were promoting the show more than you for the past two seasons. all three of them speak so highly of this show too ughh disgusting & disappointing…

I know he’s a team player but Jacob Anderson should have quit this show. They pretended that show didn’t exist for two seasons and fans themselves had to market it and tell everyone how good it was, and now suddenly all the marketing dollars and activations are there.
