Winter salt raises chloride in rivers. Just 0.2 g/L harms aquatic life, and some samples spike much higher after snowmelt or rain. Levels vary by season—but the takeaway is clear: use less salt to protect our watershed. Learn more: lsrca.on.ca/index.php/wate…
