(true story) which made me understand that very little people tip here - as in some countries its "imposed" in your bill !!!!

My honest guess? Because customer service is often not treated as a priority. Employees are usually trained to follow procedures, but not always encouraged or rewarded to engage warmly with customers. Add low wages, repetitive work, and weak accountability, and you end up with service that can feel efficient but impersonal. Service industry earn low wages and they don’t get tips often. (I was going to tip and he tried to pull that) so I didn’t tip 1/2

@georgesmhermann I hear that constantly and have experienced it first hand. I live in Canada and without a doubt Rwanda is leagues ahead in terms of community, safety and cleanliness. I often see children walking home from school without supervision in Kigali. Would never happen in my city.

@LUmutoniwase Kigali and Kigalians make me feel at home so I love it here ......... 🙏🏼❤️, after +- 10 countries on the continent - Rwanda is really in another league - especially as a Jew I feel safer here then anywhere I lived in visited in the west

Rocket Lab Space Structures Complex Update May 22, 2026 Middle River, Maryland A crack has formed on the Neutron interstage that has been on the stand for several weeks. Checking from several angles, it appears the crack goes most, if not all, of the way around. Cranes have arrived on-site which usually indicates they will be moving the hardware, likely back inside for further analysis. @NASASpaceflight
