We are a million miles behind with preserving our videogame heritage in Britain. A massive amount of great archive work has been done by retro enthusiasts and passionate individuals with no/little support from the industry. "This is the first [UK] effort" is inaccurate.

I remember playing this and getting absolutely nowhere. Sometimes you know something is a good game, but you can't quite get to it.

Picked up Smugglers Cove for the Spectrum 48K yesterday at the crash live 2023 event. Reasonably confident that this was the first text adventure I ever played. Predating (for me), The Hobbit.

@caad_es Ricardo was a lovely man who for a period of time truly loved and supported Adventuron. He was generous, kind, talented and passionate about art, game design, and games. Adventuron never met the needs of his vision and I know that it frustrated him. Farewell Ricardo. I'm sorry.
