.@Qualcomm to acquire @arduino, launches Arduino UNO Q SBC. cnx-software.com/2025/10/07/qua… The Arduino UNO Q “dual-brain” SBC is powered by a Qualcomm DragonWing QRB2210 SoC running Debian Linux and an @ST_World STM32U585 MCU for real-time control running Arduino code on Zephyr OS. It keeps the Arduino UNO form factor and provides extra I/O connectors at the bottom. It can be programmed with the Arduino App Lab IDE, unifying Arduino, Linux, Python, and AI development.

.@waveshare00 RP2350-PiZero is a Raspberry Pi Zero lookalike based on the RP2350 microcontroller. cnx-software.com/2025/07/08/rp2… It comes with a 16MB flash, a microSD card slot, a mini HDMI port (DVI output), two USB-C ports, a 40-pin GPIO header, and LiPo battery support. You could also solder a PSRAM chip if you wanted. The company provides documentation for MicroPython, C/C++, and Arduino, as well as demo code for DVI, USB (via PIO), and the microSD card.

.@Raspberry_Pi has just announced the general availability of the Radio Module 2 (RM2) for $4. cnx-software.com/2025/06/30/ras… It's a WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2 Classic/LE module designed to work with Raspberry Pi RP2040/RP2350 microcontrollers. We found it last year in the Pimoroni Pico Plus 2 W board, but the news here is that it's now available to anyone and the documentation (datasheet) has been released.

Have any of you bought the Zima Cube? It has a decent discount available at the moment and I'm more tempted than I should be. Building an equivalent system for $850 in that form-factor seems tough.. Although if you have suggestions, I'm all ears!
