@MahimahiBob It’s horrible when changes like this happen. Sadly, this is occurring everywhere it seems.

Another YouTube film up on my channel. Again, filmed during my year long solo kayak journey around Scotland a couple of years ago. This one is about paddling down the NE coast from Lybster to Helmsdale. Intricate caves. Cacophonous birds. Singing seals.

After a year of inactivity, I’ve finally put up a new film on YouTube. This one from my year long kayaking journey on the day I paddled around the incredible Troup Head on the east coast of Scotland. Amazing birdlife.

@perfectrose2011 Hi Wendy, lovely to hear from you. Britain is a small country and our cell phone coverage is pretty good. This means I have connectivity much of the time. This means I can call for help if ever I need it. In the sea I have an emergency beacon. Best wishes.

@LifeAfloat You are fortunate indeed, Nick. Questions: Do you have a way to contact anyone if you needed assistance for any reason? Also, I'm astonished how you have wifi in such remote areas. I thought there it would be impossible. If you have a phone with you, how do you charge it?
