Indigenous Peoples Day was this week and we read We Are Water Protectors by @CaroleLindstrom and @MichaelaGoade. We talked about protecting our earth’s resources and about how being little shouldn’t stop you from speaking up for those who can’t. @ludlowschools @BrummerTonya

The library has been taken over by DRAGONS! We had a first chapter sneak peek last week and students created their own chalk dragons. If you haven’t yet, you should read Henry and the Chalk Dragon by Jennifer Trafton! @ludlowschools

Our 3rd-5th grade students researched 21 different countries and their capital cities for Hispanic Heritage Month. They ”packed” their suitcases with what they learned! Where would you travel to? @ludlowschools @BrummerTonya

Last year a 3rd grade class had the most books checked out all year. This year, a 3rd grade class has the first students to step up and start working towards our 1000 minute club! There must be something ✨magical✨ going on in 3rd grade! @ludlowschools @BrummerTonya

We read Do Not Bring Your Dragon to the Library by Julie Gassman and @Andy_Elkerton this week and it brought out all our giggles! Ask your student all about what we did in the library, but make sure they leave their dragon at home! @ludlowschools @CapstonePub
