You are certainly right about not being an economics expert. Holding paper equity in companies doesn’t undermine the supply of necessary goods like food and housing. There’s still a finite supply of both whether you enviously pilfer the ledger of wealthy people or not. Redistribution just artificially increases demand for the same supply.
