Today the @uscensusbureau released the first pop data from Census 2020, showing that MN's population grew by 7.6 percent to 5,706,494. The state grew just enough to hold on to all 8 of its congressional seats! bit.ly/3xqsgAP

@MN_StateData Do you know of anywhere I can get MN population by 1-year bands by MN county? Even estimates. I'm only finding 5-year band data.

@dhmontgomery You’ll need the population estimates rather than the ACS. Sub-state 2019 data were just released last week: census.gov/popest
