Following up on the Vrabel report, it was my understanding that Coach Vrabel was going to be in contact with the staff via phone/text, but I've learned that in the end, both Vrabel and the team ultimately chose not to interrupt him and his family during Day 3 of the Draft.

@KM_official305 @NBAHistory I obviously disagree with laughable, but have been getting feedback on Kobe over KD. Both have same amount of FMVPs, KD has more scoring titles. And KD outplayed peak LeBron in Finals.
But Kobe does have more overall accolades. Will have to think more

@JohnDavids46868 @NBAHistory That’s what I always try to remember when having this conversation, we are talking about the best ever! There’s no shame in any of these guys, it’s ok being the 8th or 10th best ever, still means you’re an all time great!

@JohnDavids46868 @NBAHistory Gotcha, yea that’s where I’d guess I disagree and feel people are too hard on Lebron. Maybe he should have had more than 4 championships, but 4 championships and 4 FMVPs puts him right there after Jordan

@MProcesss @NBAHistory I’m mid 40s so I’ve been blessed to see a lot of the players we are talking about. His longevity is No 1 no doubt, but when we look at the championships and key moments, there are better. Physically there shouldn’t be, but he’s not as clutch as some others.

@RxPAT13 @NBAHistory Thank you! And yes it’s very hard to compare eras. I try to take into context how they performed against peers within their era. That benefits Russel and punished Oscar for instance. But i don’t know, so hard to say where Russell should fit in this list.

@MProcesss @NBAHistory I love this list but.... I've suggested moving players like wilt, bill and Oscar onto an NBA pioneers list where we just compare them among themselves.
We can start the new list from 1970 onward. I would have Duncan top 5 all time if this was the case.

@JohnDavids46868 @NBAHistory He has one of the highest peaks, as evidenced by 4 FMVPs, second only to Jordan. And has elite longevity. Hard to beat his resume.
I feel like there’s a generational thing with LeBron. I don’t know how old you are but wonder if it impacts your evaluation of him

@MProcesss @NBAHistory Maybe so, but I thought about it in terms of whom I would put him in front of and I can’t put him any higher. Maybe Curry but he’s the second best PG ever. Still not a bad list
