The announcement by President Trump about the potential peace deal is very good news. To make the deal effective we have to be realistic about Israel. We must recognize that a peace deal of any kind with the Iranian regime will be viewed by Israelis as an existential threat to their objectives, therefore they will seek to thwart the deal. To stop the Israelis from thwarting a potential peace deal, we will have to take away the military support that we provide that allows them to go on the offensive against Iran, and make it clear more will be taken from them if they attack Lebanon.

The intervention will support the construction and renovation of classrooms, provision of safe water, and establishment of gender-sensitive sanitation facilities in line with UBEC standards. We also commissioned a newly constructed 500-capacity conference hall at the TESS Project Office and distributed specialized learning materials and assistive devices to children with special needs in Katsina and Malumfashi. Through the TESS and AGILE Projects, we have continued to record significant progress, including teacher training, distribution of textbooks and digital learning tools, installation of CCTV cameras in schools, construction and upgrading of schools, and support for over 104,000 girls through conditional cash transfers. Education remains the foundation of sustainable development, and our administration will continue to invest in building an inclusive and functional system that gives every child in Katsina State the opportunity to succeed.
